The CIUDAD project SusTour has recently held its final conferences in its partner countries: in Ungheni (Moldova) on the 18th of June, in Kutaisi (Georgia) on the 29th of June and in Venice (Italy) on the 6th of July.

Together with the presentation of the projects results, these meetings have led to the subscription of Memorandums of Understanding for the exchange of good practices between Italian and Moldovan/Georgian partners:

  • N. 1 for the Exchange and cooperation on the Agenda 21 application to Tourist Destination Sustainability: between Mr. Alexandru Ambros, Mayor of Ungheni, and Luciano Striuli, Mayor of Caorle
  • N. 2  for the Exchange and cooperation on the Ecoaudit (EMAS) application to Tourist Destination Sustainability: between Mr. Alexandru Ambros, Mayor of Ungheni, Mr. Tengiz Topuridze, Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi, and Pasqualino Codognotto, Mayor of San Michele al Tagliamento - Bibione
  • N. 3 for the Exchange and cooperation on the urban management of the Waterfront and its valorisation: between Mr. Alexandru Ambros, Mayor of Ungheni, Mr. Tengiz Topuridze, Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi, and Mrs. Giorgia Andreuzza, Deputy of   Tourism Promotion of Venice Province, Mr. Rinio Bruttomesso, Director General of International Centre Cities on Water
  • N. 4 for the Exchange and cooperation on the River tourist valorisation (greenways) and biomass energy activity installation (green economy and renewable energy urban provider): between the Ungheni City Hall (Moldova) and the BIM (Bacino Imbrifero Montano del Basso Piave - Consortium of 6 Municipalities for the co-operative management of the waterfront of River Piave-Province of Venice)
  • N. 5 for the Exchange and cooperation on the urban decoration strategy in management of gardens, parks and flowers‐beds, pedestrian zones and bike reserved areas: between Mr. Alexandru Ambros, Mayor of Ungheni, Mr. Tengiz Topuridze, Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi, and Mrs. Francesca Zaccariotto, Mayor of San Donà di Piave
  • N. 6 for the Exchange and cooperation on the ECOCAMPING INTERNATIONAL MARK application for the campsites and The environmental manifesto: Sustainable Tourism best practices between Mr. Alexandru Ambros, Mayor of Ungheni, and Enrico Miotto, President of the Tourism Agency of Venice Province
  • N. 8 for the Exhibition promoting the main cultural heritage and tourist opportunities of Imereti Region:  between Mr. Tengiz Topuridze, Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi, and Enrico Miotto, President of the Tourism Agency of Venice Province
